Zinc Chloride (Zn-Cl)
A range of low cost, non-rechargeable cells and batteries which is ideal for general purpose use. Suitable for low to medium drain applications, where performance is less important than cost. Available in a range of sizes with consumer style terminals.

Applications: clocks, radios, smoke alarms

Alkaline Manganese (Mn-O2)
A range of premium, non-rechargeable cells and batteries that offers higher energy density than Zinc Chloride. Particularly well suited to longer shelf life applications where high intermittent currents are required. Available in a range of sizes with consumer style terminals.

Applications: digital meters, calculators, torches, security equipment

Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO2)
A range of high performance, non-rechargeable cells and batteries with good low temperature performance characteristics. Ideal for applications where low weight, long life and high energy densities are required. Available in cylindrical (photo) form and coin cell in a range of sizes.

Applications: cameras, instruments, memory back-up

Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SOCl2)
A range of non-rechargeable cells with very high performance over a wide temperature range. Suitable for applications requiring high reliability, high energy density and a long shelf life. Available in cylindrical form in a range of sizes.

Applications: remote sensing / monitoring equipment, medical devices

Lithium Iron Disulfide (Li-FeS2)
A range of non-rechargeable cells that is compatible* with zinc and alkaline products, whilst offering much longer life in high drain applications. Highest capacity AAA and AA cells in high rate applications with a wide temperature range and long shelf life. Available in AAA and AA sizes only.
*compatibility should be checked with device manufacturer prior to use.

Applications: digital cameras, GPS units, portable DVD players, high intensity torches

Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd)
A range of low cost, rechargeable cells that is suitable for high drain applications. A well developed, mature technology that continues to be the most cost effective solution in many applications, although its use is now limited by the Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2008. Available in a wide range of sizes with the option of standard (consumer), plain (industrial) or solder tag terminations. High discharge and high temperature versions also available

Applications: emergency lighting, alarm systems, medical equipment

Nickel Metal Hydride (Mi-MH)
A range of rechargeable cells and batteries offering superior performance to Nickel Cadmium. A greener alternative to Nickel Cadmium (Mercury and Cadmium free) with double the energy capacity. Do not suffer from the memory effect associated with Nickel Cadmium technology. Available in a wide range of sizes with the option of standard (consumer), plain (industrial) or solder tag terminations. High discharge versions also available

Applications: emergency lighting, alarm systems, medical equipment, cameras, instruments, memory back-up

Lithium Ion (Li-ion)
A range of leading edge, rechargeable cells offering high energy density and a long shelf life. Additional benefits include low self discharge rate, excellent cycle life and no memory effect. Available in coin, cylindrical and prismatic forms in a range of different sizes.

Applications: cameras, electronic organisers

Sealed Lead Acid (SLA / VRLA)
A range of rechargeable Lead Acid batteries designed to provide a cost effective solution in higher power applications. They are maintenance free, featuring a completely sealed design, and offer a long shelf life and low self discharge rate. Available in monoblock form in a variety of sizes.

Applications: standby systems, telecoms backup, UPS, mobility products
