RoHS Compliant

The Process

Freeway Electronics have secured exclusive right to a process that is able to convert your redundant non compliant stock to a RoHs compliant state. This is done using a unique process developed within the United Kingdom.   Freeway has been fortunate to acquire the exclusive worldwide distributorship rights for this process.

This "ROHS CONVERSION PROCESS"  which has been developed by industry specialists in the UK has taken many years to develop and perfect. The conversion process takes the components through a rigorous testing, manufacturing and quality control procedure to ensure all components subject to the process are compliant. All components are returned with an XRF report confirming they are ROHS compliant. Some of our customers have chosen to perform additional testing such as life cycle/thermal shocking.  All converted components have met or exceeded such requirements.

The factory where the processing of most components will be carried out is in the United Kingdom and has been established for more than 10 years. Dependent on customers individual requirements and batch size we are usually able to convert and deliver components within 14 days.

Freeway is delighted to be able to offer this valuable service to its customers.  With access to this service Freeway customers can convert redundant stock into components with real value.  To date our success rate has been 100%.  Contact us to see see if you can add to your organisation’s bottom line.
